How do I access therapy services in the current COVID-19 situation?

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No, you can just contact to request service. A doctor’s referral can assist with offsetting the cost of therapy for eligible clients. Find out more here.

Do I pay for services?

Yes, EnhanceAbility is a private provider. Find out about funding options here.

How do I pay for services?

We accept direct deposit into our bank account.

What age range do you service?

We primarily provide services to school-aged children and children transitioning to school. We also provide services to adults requiring assistance with assistive technology and younger children with complex needs.

How many sessions will we need?

After an initial assessment your therapist will give you an estimated number of sessions to help you achieve your goals in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Can I bring my child to appointments after school?

Currently we are not seeing clients at our premises but we can provide clinic-based services once COVID-19 is resolved.

Can a therapist come to a client’s home, school or day program?

Yes, we provide mobile services and visit children in their usual environments if it is considered to be the best place for therapy.

Can I access a therapist to help with choosing equipment and assistive technology?

Yes, a therapist can assist with identifying and sourcing appropriate technology to meet a client’s goals.

Do you only work with one client at a time?

We provide individual and group intervention. If we are working with more than one child in a family we choose the same activities to meet the needs of the children receiving therapy as much as possible.
